Driving License Charge RM 2 for Malaysia

The Transport Ministry has announced the Good news
about OKU driving license holders.
This application of motorcycles, three wheel motocycles
and cars will come into effect on may 1 2013.
Malaysian deaf need only pay RM2 for the cost of the
licence card per year. Before this, Malaysian deaf had to pay RM20 a year for
riding license and RM30 per year for the car.
Now, All of that had been set aside for the disabled
which helped to ease their burden.
交通部長三月十五日起實施‧殘友駕照費折扣93%
交通部長拿督斯里江作漢說，從3月15日起，政府將通過陸路交通局，為殘疾人士提供汽車及摩哆車駕照費用折扣高達93%的優惠。
他在文告中說，殘疾人士只須繳付2令吉來申請學車期駕照、實習期駕照（PDL，俗稱P牌駕照）及永久性駕照（CDL）。
“此外，政府也豁免殘疾人士的10令吉駕照考試。＂目前，殘疾人士的駕照費用是摩哆車20令吉，汽車30令吉。
他說，此舉是為了協助減輕殘疾人士的生活成本，為殘疾人士提供的一種優惠。
